Terms of Service
Last updated: May 10, 2026
1. Who we are
AlignIQ ("the Service") is operated by EduvisionAnalytics ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you ("you", "user") enter into a binding agreement with EduvisionAnalytics.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
3. The Service
AlignIQ is an AI-powered tool that analyzes K–12 lesson plans against curriculum standards and produces alignment, Bloom's taxonomy, and improvement suggestions. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them in instructional decisions. The Service is not a substitute for professional educational, legal, or other advice.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
- Send spam, malware, or interfere with the Service's security or integrity;
- Probe, scan, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service;
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- Submit content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing;
- Attempt to jailbreak the AI, generate disallowed content, or circumvent technical limits;
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
6. Intellectual property
EduvisionAnalytics retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, models, branding, and documentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of lesson content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.
7. AI outputs and content responsibility
You are responsible for your prompts, the lesson content you upload, and how you use outputs. We may remove or restrict content and refuse or filter outputs. Repeated infringement of third-party rights may result in account termination. To submit a takedown request, contact us at the address below.
8. Payments, subscriptions, taxes, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. See our Refund Policy for refund timing.
9. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduvisionAnalytics's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold EduvisionAnalytics harmless from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EduvisionAnalytics is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
